Thomas Enock

Thomas Enock is a seasoned banking executive with over 15 years of progressive leadership experience across local and regional banks in Tanzania. His professional journey spans key roles in internal audit, banking operations, retail banking, strategic planning & business development — giving him a rare 360-degree view of financial institution dynamics.

Thomas has served in various senior leadership capacities at Mkombozi Commercial Bank Plc, his latest role being Chief Operating Officer of the Bank for the past five (5) years. He also held senior roles with BancABC Tanzania and led several specialized audits assignments across BancABC subsidiaries in the region. Separately, Thomas is currently seating on the Board of Directors of UBX Tanzania, where he chairs the Audit and Risk Committee.

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Professional Banker (CPB), Certified Procurement and Supplies Professional (CPSP) and Certified Board Director, Thomas combines deep technical expertise with strategic acumen. He is especially passionate about institutional reform, innovation in financial services, and nurturing high-performing teams.
